TEST DRIVE 02
Don't feel limited to the scenarios presented - make up your own prompts as much as you want! Reserves and Applications are always open! Oh no! Somehow, you've been cornered by the pesky booth-runners for some weird church at an outdoor event, and strong-armed into playing their spin-the-wheel trivia game. And who are you facing off against in this battle of wits? Only the absolute palest twelve-year-old girl you've ever seen in your life, with skin and hair so white it seems almost supernatural. No matter what it is you've studied up on, though, or how much or little you're willing to let her win, the questions are clearly biased in her favor. And, indeed, it quickly becomes clear that the whole thing is a shill to get you thinking about religion and feeling like whatever one you belong to is wrong, as the questions turn to things like 'salvation of the soul' and 'your place in the grand design.' When the person working the booth decides you either look confused enough or runs out of questions, they give the girl a trio of free prize vouchers to a local ice cream parlor. You, on the other hand, get handed a pamphlet. But, on the bright side, they also give you a free towel as a consolation prize. Somehow or another, a walk in the park lead you to a strangely bustling network of tents and stalls. It looks like a farmer's market or a swap meet - until you start looking closer. Then you begin to realize that the people aren't normal, the wares aren't normal - heck, sometimes even the tents aren't normal. Full details on the Winter Goblin Market can be found in the Week 4 Update. | |

In the meantime, she's read the pamphlet over and over and over, studying it until it becomes dogeared from how many times she's folded and unfolded it in a mere few minutes. How silly of her. It's sticking out of her back pocket right now, she's unceremoniously crumpled it up and stuffed it back there.
"Does anyone else think this is bull?" she asks loudly, finally opening her mouth. "Are we supposed to keep our mouths quiet because we're playing against a child?"

A small smile is on her face, the kind of smile of someone who thinks they're being funny.

How foreboding.
